DESCRIPTION

This standalone sequel to Scythe takes players on a new adventure in Siberia, where a massive meteorite has crashed near the Tunguska River, awakening an ancient corruption. An expedition led by Dr. Tarkovsky ventures into the taiga to study the meteorite and its impact on the earth. Adventure-hungry war heroes privately fund their own expeditions into Siberia, hoping to find artifacts, overcome challenges, and ultimately achieve glory.

Expeditions is a competitive, engine-building, card-based exploration game. It is designed to feel similar to Scythe, although the mechanics are different: play cards to gain power, cunning, and unique worker abilities; lead your Mech to mysterious locations and obtain cards found among the tiles; exploit workers, items, meteorites, and quests to upgrade your Mech; use power and cunning to defeat the corruption.
