HISPANIA is a cooperative game by Miguel Marquéz (author of Tetrarchy!) in which 1 to 3 players take on the roles of the praetors and consuls that Rome sent to the Spanish peninsula over the course of two centuries. Your goal will be to subjugate all the peoples of the peninsula before the end of the millennium to incorporate Hispania into the next empire, emulating the first emperor Caesar Augustus.



At the beginning of the 2nd century BC, the Republic of Rome has just defeated its greatest enemy, Carthage and its leader Hannibal. After annexing the Carthaginian possessions on the Mediterranean coast of Hispania, Rome organizes the provinces Ulterior and Citerior and orders their praetors to complete the conquest of the peninsula, inhabited by peoples at war with each other. But the Hispanians prove to be a formidable enemy. Rome will be trapped in a ferocious war that will devour praetors, consuls and legions for almost 200 years, until Caesar Augustus himself defeats the Cantabrians to finally incorporate Hispania into his new empire.
