DESCRIPTION

The mystery of the disappearance of the Roanoke colony in 1567 is the backdrop to this challenge for two players.

Pagan: Roanoke's Fate is an asymmetrical card game for two players, who take the roles of the Witch and the Witch Hunter respectively. The Witch's goal is to complete a ritual of return to nature before being discovered and eliminated by the Hunter.
The Suspects are nine Villagers, and only the Witch player knows who the real witch is. Each turn, the two players use their Villager Action tokens to draw cards, play cards, and gain influence. In addition, the Witch can prepare Potions, enhance her Familiar, and cast Spells and Charms, while the Hunter can recruit Allies, occupy strategic Locations, and conduct ruthless Investigations on the Villagers.

In Pagan, two players compete to be the first to complete their individual objectives. As the Witch, your goal is to collect enough Secrets to perform a ritual powerful enough to magically subjugate the entire region and reclaim the colony for Mother Nature. As the Hunter, you'll rally all your allies for the support needed to bring the Witch to justice before her fatal ritual is complete.
