DESCRIPTION

Arkham Horror LCG is a cooperative card game that will catapult you into a series of fascinating investigations in perfect Lovecraftian style. Embody one of the possible characters and make him progress during the adventures as in a real role-playing game! This Revised Core is able to allow up to 4 players to play alone.

The time has come, strange things are happening all over the globe and some voices whisper that mysterious beings known as the Great Old Ones are about to awaken. Your task is to understand what is happening in the town of Arkham in New England, where particular events and mysterious disappearances have thrown the entire population into turmoil. Adventure after adventure you will be able to (maybe) find the clue to the arcane skein, gradually making your character progress and choosing, scenario after scenario, which path to take. The various steps of your adventure, in addition to the outcome of the scenario, will in fact be dictated by your choices when faced with some crucial crossroads.

The construction of each investigator's deck depends on the characteristics of each of them and includes some very powerful iconic cards, as well as some malus that you can draw during your adventures, perhaps at the worst moment... The rest of the choice of cards is up to you! During the campaign you can improve some of the cards in your deck thanks to the experience points you accumulate, replacing them with more powerful versions or even with other cards, giving you a tangible sign of how your character is actually growing before your eyes!

Every mystery out there is waiting to be revealed, will you have the guts and fortitude to face them and prevent the return of the Great Old Ones?

What has changed since the previous edition?

• Same rules, same campaign.
• Up to 4 players.
• Reorganized box contents, making it easier to find specific cards. Each investigator is packaged with the cards that make up their suggested pre-constructed deck, and each scenario is packaged separately from the others, so players simply shuffle their decks and are ready to go.
• Added some useful elements during the game, such as new resource and multiple clue/destiny tokens and a lead investigator token!
