Wines Deluxe Edition

The Deluxe version has new simplified rules, 30 new tiles, a new region to play, the Advertisers and Madeira Island expansions, and completely revamped graphics.

Like the finest wine, the most important things in life get better with age! By combining the efforts of the great game designer Vital Lacerda with those of the designer Ian O'Toole on the game Vinhos we have managed to create the 2016 edition in Deluxe format.

The Deluxe Edition of Vinhos is a strategic game for 1-4 players which lasts about 30-45 minutes for each player. The version sold here also contains the rulebook, reference booklet and help sheets in English in addition to the standard game components.

Expand your business by acquiring properties in different regions of Portugal. Wine grown in the Algarve region (right) increases its value by 1 due to the high level of tourism.

The player board contains your warehouse (where you can add cellars to age wine), vineyards and wineries.

A property without vineyards does not produce wine, which is something to avoid! Vineyards can produce red or white wine depending on the color of the tile.

Each year begins by determining the weather that will affect the quality of the wine produced, but you can also hire ecologists and farmers to improve it!

If you are not careful the profit margins of selling wine can be low. You can sell your wines in the local Portuguese market (like Casa de Fados) or export it to different countries!

Wine industry experts can help you. Wine fairs will provide you with an opportunity and your wine will be judged: having the best wine will give you prestige and improve your sales!
