DESCRIPTION

Barrage is a worker placement game based on the mechanics of water flow.
Players compete in the energy control of a territory by building majestic dams, implementing them to increase the water collection capacity and the consequent energy production that will then have to be transported and used thanks to turbines and pipelines.
In a dystopian belle époque, the industrial revolution has pushed the consumption of fossil resources to their complete exhaustion. Technological development seems to be over, but a new resource, clean and inexhaustible, comes to the aid of humanity: hydroelectric energy. Each player represents one of the international companies that have made available their resources, their technology and their best men to bring millions of kilowatts of hydroelectric energy from the remote Alpine regions.

Barrage includes two new and innovative game mechanics. The construction wheel, which players will have to work on to build, and the water levels, which will have to be intercepted with dams.
