Dear students, the cosmic faculty of the Technical Academy of Creation is pleased to welcome you to your Civolution , the final exam in Civilization Design!

For this occasion, we have prepared a humanoid scenario on an isolated continent. Each of you is a local deity closely linked to your civilization and must lead it to success. Your development possibilities are endless and range from cultural and technical progress to evolutionary adaptations. For example, what do you think is more advantageous for your tribes: inventing the wheel or growing wings? Demonstrate your ability to operate and show us how well you can adapt to changing environmental conditions and creative chaos.

When the exam ends after four eras, the one who has managed to collect the most success points will not only pass the exam, but will become a full member of the Technical Creation Academy and will have the opportunity to be promoted to the next instance.

Civolution is a Euro game by Stefan Feld that uses a dice selection mechanism to trigger actions on a tech tree-like structure. As you learn how to best utilize your dice and bring your unique cards into play, numerous strategies and paths to victory will emerge, although each time you play, you will only explore a fraction of the possibilities that the game system and many cards offer.
