DESCRIPTION

Fields of Arle is the most autobiographical game created by Uwe Rosenberg, known for being the author of highly successful games, such as Agricola, Caverna, Le Havre, Hallertau and A Feast for Odin. In the game you will discover the history of his family and the village where his father was born and where his parents got married.

In the early 18th century in the small village of Arle in East Frisia, your family faces many challenges: draining the marshes, plowing the fields and raising animals. Increasing your skills in village tasks and constructing the appropriate buildings will also be of vital importance. During the round, you will assign various tasks to your family members based on the seasons. You will use your vehicles to trade goods with other villages and improve your assets.

Includes the Tea & Trade expansion that brings more variety to the far north. Tea, the national drink of East Frisia, promotes activity; ships enable trade and fishing. The ditch digger joins the other workers, digging canals that reclaim the land and allow for faster cultivation of fields and sheep breeding. A variety of new buildings round out this expansion. This expansion features a shorter game mode still for three players.
