Fit to Print is a puzzle game where you have to place tiles according to the latest news, created by Peter McPherson and set in an enchanting woodland world created by Ian O'Toole!
Thistleville is the world’s busiest town—it’s a challenge to keep up with everything that’s going on, from who took home first prize for their baked goods at the community fair to who’s digging up Mrs. Brambleberry’s carrot patch.
As an editor of one of the local newspapers, your job is to tell their stories!
The front page is coming in a few hours and you don’t have time for perfection. Get the most important stories before the other papers have a chance and make sure you get the right photos, too. A newspaper is a business, so the money has to come from somewhere – don’t forget the ads! Once you’ve chosen a combination of stories, photos and ads, it’s time to lay out the front page. Got enough panels to fill the paper, but not so many that you have to cut things out? Over the course of three fast-paced days, your skills will be put to the test as you compete to be the most noteworthy editor!
Fit To Print is a tile-laying game for the whole family. Players simultaneously collect newspaper tiles, stacking them on their desks until they think they have what they need to create the perfect front page. Then, they’ll yell “Layout!” and begin to lay out the page, carefully considering the placement of centerpieces, articles, photographs, and advertisements. When everything is in place, they’ll yell “Print” to be the first off the press and get their pick of centerpieces for the next round! This fast-paced space puzzle features over 100 unique newspaper tiles, 6 characters with their own special abilities, and 3 decks of Breaking News cards, so every time you play you’ll solve a new puzzle!
If real-time games aren't your style, Fit to Print has a variety of alternative modes to suit every type of puzzle gamer. In Slo-Mode, players take turns drawing tiles from a shared market and arranging them on their front pages. In Puzzle Mode, you take a specific set of tiles and put together the highest-scoring arrangements. Whether you enjoy relaxing solo puzzles or fast-paced action for up to 6 players, you'll have a blast helping the creatures of Thistleville tell their stories!
