Islet by Tesla games is part of the board games in the category family games . Created by Thomas Dagenais-Lespérance and on sale on our e-commerce site in Italian , playable by 1-4 players . A game lasts approximately 20-40 minutes . Suitable for ages 8 and up .
In Islet you embody tropical birds trying to nest on a small island in the middle of the ocean. During the game you will collectively explore the island to collect materials, competing to create the best nests in which to lay your eggs, thus ensuring the continuity of your species. In each of your turns you choose to explore the island to receive resources or position yourself to create the perfect nests in which to lay your precious eggs.
This way, together (and not against each other) you will build a tropical island with its different biomes, and whoever lays all the eggs on the island first will be the winner.
How to play:
Whoever last touched an egg starts.
Starting with that player, in turn, clockwise. On your turn, you must take an EXPLORE or MOVE action.
When you EXPLORE, EXPLORE, place 1 to 4 tiles from your supply, expanding the islet and receiving resources in return.
When you MOVE, you may ADVANCE your pawn and SPAWN (lay eggs), as many times as you like and in any order and combination, as long as you can pay the required resource cost.
The end of the game can be triggered in 2 different ways:
● When a player SPAWNS his last egg, his turn ends normally and then the current round ends (so that everyone plays the same number of turns).
● When a player takes the last island tile from the bag, the current round ends and a new round is played (so that everyone plays the same number of rounds).
In any case, the player who has generated the most eggs wins the game.
ISLET is the second game in the series that started with Coral.
