The Old King's Crown

The Old King's Crown is a card-driven board game of royalty, rebels, and ruse, where you play as heirs to a vacant throne, vying for control of an ancient and prosperous kingdom. Use the unique abilities and traits of your followers to best outwit your opponents, across a map that stretches from the wobbly heights of the castle to the dim light of the necropolis.
As the leader of your faction, you will have to make your demands known openly, through Heralds, and station your forces in secret, hoping to conquer locations that suit your designs. However, keep an eye on your rivals, for they too have agents ready to ruin your best-laid plans.

In The Old King's Crown, players move their Herald to locations, hoping to claim them. Then, at the same time, players play cards from their hand, face down, to regions of the board. These are then revealed and resolved. Winning these encounters yields various rewards that favor the player's position and grant him the main goal of the game, influence. When a player manages to reach a set amount of influence, dependent on the number of players, and manages to maintain it until the end of a turn, he wins the game.

Includes four distinct factions to choose from, a deck of neutral cards to recruit, an innovative approach to deck management, a full solo mode, and dynamic turns for simultaneous revelation and precise, strategic turns.
