DESCRIPTION

Quicksand™ is a real-time collaborative challenge where players combine their efforts to defuse the Quicksand, an ancient apparatus of sand and gears.
A giant whirlpool in the desert has dragged you into a centuries-old underground temple, and the only way to return to the surface is to deactivate all 21 Quicksand traps.

Be careful! You can't act too fast or too slow or the Quicksand will activate: only perfect teamwork will allow you to deactivate this ancient device.
Take turns playing cards to flip and advance one or more hourglasses; your goal is to prevent one of them from running out before you deactivate the device.

Hourglasses are found on the Gear tiles, each one featuring a different combination of shape and color. Each of your cards depicts only 1 shape –or– 1 color among those available, and when you play a card, all the hourglasses on the corresponding tiles are turned over and moved forward to the next tiles –a regardless of whether you want it or not .

Flipping an hourglass too early can get you into trouble yourself... but waiting too long will inevitably end the game. You'll need to coordinate strategically as a team to deactivate the Quicksand before the hourglasses run out!
