DESCRIPTION

Rising Sun is a board game of political and military intrigue set in a feudal Japan with decidedly fantasy tones. Recruit bushi, shinto and daimyo of your clan to gain dominance over the others, but you will also encounter dragons, oni and other monsters from classical oriental mythology that you will have to defeat. The ancient gods have returned to rebuild the Empire, it will be up to you to help your favorite kami to help them in their task between skirmishes, duels of honor and complex political compromises.

Rising Sun comes out in the same format as the acclaimed Blood Rage, a title with which it shares both the author and the publishing house, as well as a large quantity of miniatures of excellent workmanship. This time, instead of in the guise of decidedly ferocious Viking clans, you will have to respect the code of the bushi, negotiating and using your diplomacy as well as your skill in battle. Who will be able to best favor their kami and thus become the new shogun?
