Shackleton Base: A Mission to the Moon 🌕🚀

A permanent base is being built in Shackleton Crater, near the Moon's South Pole. You are the head of one of the space agencies involved in the mission, working together to expand the human presence on the Moon. But beware: the three large corporations funding the project each have their own goals to pursue.

In Shackleton Base: A Trip to the Moon , you'll build structures on the moon base and fund corporate projects, gaining special abilities and unique scoring opportunities.

🔹 How to play

At the start of the game, three corporations are randomly selected from the seven available. Each corporation introduces new projects, actions, and scoring mechanisms, ensuring variety in every game.

The game is played over three rounds , each divided into three phases :

🚀 Shuttle Phase
Players choose a shuttle tile from an open display. This choice determines the type of astronauts and resources available for the round, as well as the turn order for the next phase.

🏗️ Action Phase
In turns, players send their astronauts to the Moon to gather resources, build structures, or finance projects. The resources available vary depending on the corporations in play and can be used to develop projects or construct buildings. Each project offers ongoing abilities and new scoring possibilities. Corporations also introduce different ways to earn points , which are activated during actions, in the maintenance phase, or at the end of the game.

🔧 Maintenance Phase
Deployed astronauts are assigned to structures, providing bonuses to their owners. Players collect income, pay maintenance costs, and activate any end-of-round effects introduced by the selected corporations.

🏆 Who wins?

After the third round , the final points are counted . The player with the highest score will be the undisputed leader of the lunar mission!
