In Sleeping Gods - Distant Skies, a standalone sequel set in the world of Sleeping Gods, you and your friends will travel across a vast landscape, reading branching stories and meeting vivid characters. In this game, you interact with the atlas on a deeper level: camping, exploring, overcoming obstacles, and searching for lost relics. The new action system gives you more freedom as you travel and explore.

Sleeping Gods - Distant Skies not only continues the exploration and quest system of the original game, but also introduces a new approach to combat. Players build a combat deck from which they draw a diverse hand of cards to play, making each encounter a dynamic and challenging puzzle. While Distant Skies builds on story elements from the first game, you don't need to have played Sleeping Gods to enjoy this sequel. The game introduces new characters and storylines, explaining concepts from the original game as you encounter them.
