Takenoko: Chibis is an expansion for the Takenoko game that also introduces the new miniature of Mrs. Panda that you will have to take care of together with her male counterpart and... their little Panda babies. The family has grown!

Takenoko: Chibis is an expansion of the Takenoko family board game, published by Asmodee Italia.

Game Elements:

• 1 miniature Miss Panda and her cubs
• 9 baby panda tokens (3 green tokens, 3 yellow tokens, and 3 pink tokens)
• 18 new objective cards (6 terrain cards, 6 bamboo cards, and 6 panda cards)
• 17 additional bamboo sections
• 6 new terrain tiles marked with the Panda symbol (to distinguish the tiles from those of the base game)

Takenoko will take you to the Japanese Imperial Court, a long time ago...

After a long series of disputes, diplomatic relations between Japan and China are finally on the way to being resolved. After years of disagreements and negotiations, they have finally reached a compromise and a solemn alliance has been sealed.

To appropriately celebrate this alliance, the Chinese emperor offers his Japanese counterpart a sacred animal, a giant panda, as a symbol of peace.

The Japanese Emperor has entrusted his court members (the players) with the arduous task of caring for the animal by establishing a lush bamboo garden reserved for him. Players will cultivate plots of land, water them to grow one of three species of bamboo with the help of the attentive and expert imperial gardener. The best bamboos come in different colors: green, yellow and pink.
