DESCRIPTION

Expansion for The Witcher: The Old World in ITALIAN.

Follow the tracks of monsters to learn their weaknesses. Use bombs and mutagens to fight more skillfully. Meet the Witcher of the Manticore School!

On the Trail of Monsters adds further depth to multiple elements of the game: hunting and fighting monsters, deck building and developing combos, using bombs, upgrading with mutagens, as well as new cards for starting decks.

This expansion contains a new playable witcher from the Manticore School, advanced action cards for the witchers, and large monster cards, one for each of the creatures from the base game The Old World. These cards contain a new advanced special ability and four unique special attacks for the monster, tied to its characteristics in The Witcher setting.

When a monster appears on the board, players place the corresponding large card next to the board, visible to everyone.

In addition to the large cards, the expansion introduces 4 special combat cards. Before facing a monster, shuffle 2, 3, or 4 of them randomly into its Life Deck (depending on the monster's level). This way, fighting a powerful and sturdy werewolf will be completely different than facing a Foglet hiding in mists and illusions.

Furthermore, each battle against the same monster will be unique, because you don't know in advance which special attacks it will use and in what order.

Special Battle Cards allow you to diversify your battles and introduce a new mechanic – passive attacks. When a monster discards a Special Battle Card when taking damage, the passive attack automatically triggers.

Monsters' many special and passive attacks mean that players will have to consider their decisions more carefully than ever when hunting and fighting monsters.
