THE trailblazer are brave people who trek and challenge the trails of the great outdoors. Whether it’s hiking boots, bicycle wheels, or river paddles, these tenacious travelers seek to feed their insatiable appetite for adventure. With the scenic wilderness ahead and a freshly blazed trail behind them, don’t forget to find your way back to camp. Because there are always new environments to explore, new expeditions to undertake, and new trails to follow.

In Trailblazers , players compete to earn the most points by building bike, hiking, or kayaking trails starting from their campsites. Each turn, players are dealt eight trail cards, draw two cards, place them in their personal area, and pass them to the next player three times. Cards must be placed adjacent to or on top of each other. While it is possible to try your luck by trying to build long, complex trails, only closed loops that start and end at a matching campsite will score points. Players also compete to achieve the "First To" and "Game Over" objectives. After four rounds, the game ends and the player with the most points from completed loops and objectives wins.

The standard edition of Trailblazers includes a second deck of path and player cards, allowing up to 8 people to play. The box also contains two expansions (Animals and Adventurers) that add an additional layer of strategy and objectives to the game. Finally, there are three unique modes for solo play, using the objective cards, the Animals expansion, or the Adventurers expansion.

The pieces inside the game are made of wood.
