DESCRIPTION

One of the greatest board game classics, in a re-translated and re-edited version by Asmodee Italia.
We are in Central Europe at the end of 1600. The civilized world is coming back to life after the disasters of the plague. People want to start over, to plow the fields, to build houses and aspire to a better life.

Players will take on the role of a rural family of the period, with the task of managing their farm as best as possible, applying themselves with greater dedication to agriculture or livestock farming or other activities, investing the time and work of the family members (in terms of gameplay, by placing the meeples of their family members on the action spaces they wish to occupy).

A game of Agricola takes place over 14 rounds. During each round, players place each of their family members on exactly one action space, until all players have placed all of their family members. The available actions are represented on the game board.

Players will hinder each other, since each action box can only be used by one family member in each round. The actions selected in the previous phase will then be carried out.
The goal is to collect food for your family and develop your farm board so that it is worth a lot of points at the end of the game.

In short, a classic of the German genre, where the winner is the one who can best manage his resources. This is why Agricola represents one of the management games par excellence.
