DESCRIPTION

Behold the Andromeda Rim, a dazzling region of unexplored space at the edge of the Andromeda Galaxy. Littered with the debris of Forerunner civilization, patrolled by malicious extragalactic raiders, and bordered by dense nebulae, the Rim is a last resort for the brave and reckless seeking a new life beyond the oppressive reach of the Unity Lords.

Andromeda's Edge is a worker placement game where workers are upgradeable starships, each with different special abilities. The game board features a modular hex map showing regions of space with worker placement actions and development sites. The player board is a customizable starbase that allows for the construction of massive engine tableaux by connecting various types of modules. Each player controls a unique faction with subtly different gameplay.

Many faces, one purpose: The Unity, the oppressive authority you escaped, has followed you to the Andromeda's Edge. Multiple Unity leaders, with varying difficulties and tactics, will clash with your single faction, even in solo play. The Escalation expansion provides a fifth-player component, two new factions (Nebulon Cloudpeople and Darkstar Acolytes), and a robust solo mode.
