The Animal Sanctuary is an indie game set in the Ark Nova universe .

In Ark Nova - The Animal Sanctuary , you plan and design a modern, scientifically managed zoo for animals and visitors. A set of 135 unique zoo tiles provide you with animals, buildings, and blueprints. In each game, you must find the best combination of these available tiles to build the most successful zoo facility. Different effects on the tiles will help you achieve your conservation goals and increase the attractiveness of your zoo.

Each player has a set of four action cards to manage their game, and the power of an action is determined by the slot the card currently occupies. One of these cards allows you to play projects, while the other three cards allow you to play animals from a specific habitat: forest, rock, or water.

Ark Nova - The Animal Sanctuary builds on its predecessor Ark Nova , but tweaks and streamlines many of that game's mechanics in an elegant and surprising way. The task of finding the best way to fit together the animals, buildings, and designs on the zoo map is a constant pleasure!
