In the wake of the Great Disasters, a new chapter in the history of Sylvan Dale has begun. The Elders have called upon you and your fellow architects to design a new woodland kingdom, a haven nestled in the embrace of the Great Trees. Guide the builders of Sylvan Dale as they construct dwellings, bridges, and hanging courtyards.

Builders of Sylvan Dale , created by Peter Ridgeway, is a unique 3D tile-placing game. Play a card and place a new home atop the ever-growing trees of the forest. Collect sets of cards to gain special actions, such as building bridges or magically making treetops grow. Make your homes stand out in the trees above your rivals, and you will forever be remembered as Sylvan Dale’s greatest architect!

The game is played in two rounds. In each round, each player has half of the tiles to place on the trees, trying to get a high Prestige result by collecting the highest number of fame points during the game. At the end of each round, it is determined which player has the preeminence in each tree and in each district into which the board is divided, and the relative score in fame points is calculated.

The player with the highest total fame points at the end of the scoring phase wins!
