Derrocar, designed by Argentine native Bruss Brussco, is a card game about the different weeks in which Argentina has had five presidents. Are you ready to play a role in some of the most peculiar weeks in political history? Become one of the provincial governors trying to reach the presidency of Argentina in the midst of the political and economic crisis of 2001. In this 1 to 5 player board game you will play as senators and provincial governors, all trying to outsmart the others and become the next President of the República Argentina. In a country tired of politicians, you must prove that you are the least worst option by ensuring that the other governors' provinces are full of conflict. By making it look like your opponents can't even manage their own provinces, they will be even less able to manage the country. The game ends when one player is declared President. Turns are divided into two phases: first, you must choose one of the options on the board (propose laws, decrees, debt payment, embezzlement fund, etc.) and then buy cards from the market. In the next phase, you play a set of cards from your hand (Execute operations, Lobby, create conflict with the establishment, create bad press campaigns, etc.). In the meantime, you manage your economy, events (looting, flooding, an appeal from Bush, more) and negotiate short alliances. To win, you must be the player with the most Support when the game ends because the other players are full of conflicts. The game features a modular system that allows players to choose the level of complexity that best suits their tastes.
