DESCRIPTION

A new base game for Dune Imperium, with new mechanics.

Arrakis. Dunes. The desert planet. Home to the most precious resource in the universe: the spice melange. After betraying and destroying House Atreides, Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV has restored control of the planet Arrakis to House Harkonnen.
But a mysterious warrior named Muad'Dib has risen to power among the Fremen, threatening the plans of the Emperor and his allies. Other factions have taken note of the breaking point in the conflict on Arrakis. What was once a blood feud between rival Great Houses has become something much greater.

From small-time smugglers to the Bene Gesserit sisterhood to the Emperor himself, many have critical roles to play in determining the future of the Empire. As always, one thing is certain: whoever controls the spice controls the universe…

DUNE: IMPERIUM – INSURRECTION is a deck-building and worker-placement game inspired by elements and characters from the Dune saga, both Legendary Pictures films, and the best-selling novel series by Frank Herbert, Brian Herbert, and Kevin J. Anderson.

Note: The game features multiple Great House leaders. For the most authentic gameplay experience, it is recommended that you do not use more than one leader from the same House in a single game, although the game is also designed to allow for alternative leader combinations and what-if scenarios.
