Mansions of Madness is a macabre board game of horror, madness, and mystery for 2-5 players! Gather your fellow investigators and unravel the dark mysteries within. before it's too late.
Based on the horror stories of master of horror HP Lovecraft, Mansions of Madness recreates a gripping storyline every time you play. Each game begins with a prepared storyline that provides players with a map of a building and various combinations of storylines to follow. These storylines determine the monsters investigators may encounter, the clues they may uncover, and what surprising ending they may experience.
One player takes on the role of the keeper, who controls monsters and other hostile forces within the story. The other players take on the role of investigators, who search for answers while struggling to survive and maintain their sanity.
The combination of fascinating storylines and unique game components will take you into a world of cosmic horrors. The spectacular modular map reproduces the interiors of the rooms with great detail and care, while the monster models represent the otherworldly forces of evil with incredible effectiveness.
The bases of each monster model have an opening in which to insert the appropriate monster token, revealing only the statistics needed at the time. In total, the thirty-two models, over 300 game cards, over 200 tokens and tiles, and nearly 70 modular tiles will help you immerse yourself in a story of terrifying mystery that will test your mind.
