Hot Streak is a game for unlucky players who love to gamble and yell at the runners, who in this case are mascots who may (or may not) keep running in the right direction.

At the start of the game, prepare a deck of playing cards with one card for each mascot and a random number of cards based on the number of players. Show these cards to all players, then they draw a bet slip from the cards on display and, in reverse order, place a second bet. For each bet, you can play it safe or turn it to the risky side, which could pay out more or cause you to lose. After betting, each player chooses one of the three cards in their hand to secretly add to the deck of playing cards.

Shuffle the deck, burn three cards, then reveal them one at a time from the deck, moving the mascots along the track, sometimes veering into another lane and knocking another runner over, sometimes turning, sometimes moving all at once, and sometimes simply reversing course! If a runner goes off the track or is hit while already falling, they are disqualified. If necessary, shuffle all the cards in the deck, burn three cards again, and continue racing until all four podium spots are filled. Bets are settled based on these results.

For games 2 and 3, first deal each player a random card from the deck, then place the bets again, and finally ask each player to add a card from their hand to the deck. After game 3, everyone counts their money.
