In the newly explored frontiers of the Mistwind Isles, bustling cities are filled with hard-working citizens, from mushroom farmers to deep-sea mist divers. Transport whales can be seen soaring above the thick fog, ferrying citizens and goods from port to port. Mistwind is growing rapidly, and our leaders are looking to connect with neighboring nations to expand trade networks that will be beneficial for years to come. You are the head of a trading company and have the chance to make a name for yourself. You have trained your transport whales well, and now you must gather resources to build your outposts and maximize the efficiency of your network while keeping up with supply and demand from local capitals.

Mistwind is a strategy game about building networks and fulfilling the demands of each nation. Players will gain resources to build outposts or train transport whales, collect and deliver goods to fulfill the demands of the territory, and complete network contracts with neighboring nations in an attempt to become the most trusted trader in Mistwind.

Players will have a hand of action discs numbered 1 to 5 but at the start of each round you will have to choose one to discard and not use for that round. The game board will have 4 sections, each with its own numbered spots from 1 to 5 where players will play their corresponding numbered action disc. Each space on the board allows only one action disc. Players take turns placing their action discs until each player has used all 4 discs, thus ending the round. The game only has 4 rounds, so players must carefully choose when and where to spend their actions to maximize their turns.

Players will earn points by, among other things, completing network cards, delivering resources to capitals, and the most tokens required by each region. The player with the most points wins!
