An extravagant widow, a Marchioness, lives outside Derby in a house furnished as unpleasantly as a Scottish castle. Even more unpleasant is the fact that her mansion is literally invaded by strange exiles from all over Europe and eccentric, if noble, local characters. Respectable people should avoid such an environment!
You must confess that sometimes these characters are fascinating and perhaps in some cases they could be of help to you when fate is against you and your family is in difficulty.

The Characters expansion for Obsession brings new personalities to Derbyshire that provide unique actions for managing your country estate: Constable Bucket, good at chasing away all manner of unwelcome guests; a Mr. Higbee who can find domestic help when needed; the wise Reverend Grantly, a dispenser of sage advice; and an eccentric Marchioness, who will put you in contact with a Prussian Major, a Swedish nobleman, and a Russian Count in the blink of an eye!

The expansion also introduces new tiles, new opponents for solitaire, new Guests and new Objectives, and a new cooperative rulebook!
