Despite covering less than 1% of the ocean floor, coral reefs are home to approximately 25% of all marine species. Sadly, these vibrant underwater cities are dying. Climate change and the resulting rise in sea temperatures are devastating the colorful algae that give coral reefs their brilliant colors, causing coral bleaching. In addition, other threats such as pollution, in its many insidious forms, and overfishing are upsetting the delicate balance of coral reef ecosystems.

Reef Project: Your Mission

Scientists from various fields, along with researchers studying the ecological complexity and importance of coral reefs, are working together to address the many challenges that threaten these ecosystems. Your task is to take command of a scientific vessel and embark on a journey to conserve coral reefs. Hire the best crew, clean the ocean, and restore the reefs to their former glory.

How to Play Reef Project

During the game, players take on the role of researchers and saviors of the oceans. You will sail the seas, hire crews, explore coral reefs, clean ocean sectors from any pollution, and try to complete as many missions as possible.

• Recharge: Players can choose to reload and earn rewards from the Victory Points track.
• Voyage: Players can travel, deploy Reef Balls, move their ship, play Mission cards, and perform various actions.

The game is played for a variable number of rounds. When a player exceeds the threshold of 45 Victory Points, the end of the game begins. After another round, the final count is made and the player with the most Victory Points is the winner.
