DESCRIPTION

New invaders invade the world of Root! This expansion adds two new factions and four fighters that make the Woods even more alive and add new strategies to the factions.

The Factions:

• LORD OF THE HORDE
  Claiming to be the only true voice of the Grove, the Horde Lord consolidates power by brutally suppressing all dissent. During the Twilight, he scores victory points based on how many glades he subjugates.
  His teeming army is led by the Warlord, a demagogic warrior whose fickle nature provides the Horde with temporary advantages. To perform more actions and recruit more warriors, the Horde Lord must increase his Command and Prowess by accumulating items to add to his massive Treasury, and if that isn't enough, he can incite torch-wielding mobs and raze the glades of the Woods.

• THE IRON GUARDIANS
  The Iron Keepers are an ancient order of knights in exile, who returned to the Woods to recover relics lost in past conflicts.
  The Keepers must search for relics in the forests, move them to their respective collection centers from which they must recover them to obtain victory points.
  Everything must be planned with extreme precision because the Servants of the Woods, who they rely on to search for and recover the relics, can suddenly disappear.
