It is the year of "glork-too-vleep," or the middle of the 20th century in Earth time. We have recently stumbled upon this planet called Earth and discovered intelligent, if primitive, life forms. The most intelligent and valuable of these creatures are cows. Unfortunately, for our galactic purposes we must focus on the second most intelligent life form on Earth: humans. These creatures are just as intelligent as they need to be. Their brains seem eager to be molded, and their civilization is perfect for our isolation.

Aliens have come to trap humans – manipulating, guiding, and preserving them – for their own cosmic purposes! In SILOS (Secret InterLopers from Outer Space), players control rival factions of aliens who kidnap and manipulate humans and cows, secretly invading their community. Players compete for the majority at key locations in this small town, attempting to activate tracking powers and control human specimens to gain social power.

Players take turns repositioning their alien miniatures and activating an event card. The goal is to collect a complete set of humans: politicians, government workers, influencers, and professionals. A complete set will earn the player a social power emblem, and the first player to collect five emblems wins the game. Cows are especially valuable, and so count as wild tokens toward a complete set.
