Legend has it that the abandoned Spectral Manor comes to life at the stroke of midnight on a Crimson Moon, an event that rarely occurs more than once a century. On that night and that night only, enormous treasures appear in certain rooms, granting untold riches to those brave enough to find and claim them. But those who enter this mansion do so at their own peril, as certain rooms awaken ghosts and curses that claim anyone foolish enough to enter. Rumor has it that glyphs and seals are found within the mansion only on the night of the Crimson Moon; these markings offer hints and clues, indicating both where treasures can be found and where paranormal traps lurk.
In Spectral , players control gangs of competing treasure hunters. These gangs enter Spectral Manor on the night of the Crimson Moon and race to discover and secure the locations of the treasures before midnight. As they discover and decipher glyphs, they can avoid rooms where demons secretly sleep and selfishly keep that information hidden from their rivals. Meanwhile, the locations of the estate that promise to summon the most treasure will see multiple clans clash for territory. Through deduction, bidding, betting, and bluffing, players will discover and exploit the secrets within. The game ends after one player has placed all of their treasure hunters or if all players pass consecutively. The gang that claims the most treasure while avoiding the cursed rooms will emerge victorious.
Spectral offers several levels of challenge: beginner mode, standard mode and advanced modules, so you can adapt the game to your experience.
