After the great earthquake of 1755 that destroyed Lisbon and much of the southern coast of Portugal, an entire nation had to be rebuilt. The demand for window glass increased so much that William Stephens, a British entrepreneur, saw an opportunity to expand his business in Portugal by investing in the glass industry.

In Stephens , players compete as master glassmakers working at the famous Stephens Factory to become the most prestigious figure in the city...after Stephens, of course. Through careful planning, players will create their own works, invest in new businesses, and promote job creation. Thanks to a unique action selection mechanism, players can choose from a variety of different options, activating the Stephens Factory or one of their own investments, creating ever-new combinations and possibilities.

Stephens is a game by Luís Costa and José Carlos Santos. It is a medium-complexity game for 1-4 players that lasts about 90 minutes. Here we present the Giochix.it version of the Italian edition of the game.
