In the years following the devastating Twilight Wars, the ethnic groups of the old Lazax Imperium retreated to their home worlds, beginning a period of uneasy peace.
Now the galaxy is once again in turmoil and the Great Races have returned to peer into the depths of space beyond their borders: Mecatol Rex, the jewel of galactic civilization, awaits those bold enough to claim the title of Emperor.
