DESCRIPTION

“Travelers South of the Tigris is set during the height of the Abbasid Caliphate, circa 820 BCE. As explorers, cartographers, and astronomers, you set out from Baghdad to chart the lands, the rivers around them, and the skies above. Carefully manage your caravan of workers and equipment, keeping track of your discoveries and reporting back to the House of Wisdom (Bayt al-Hikma). Will you impress the Caliph, or will you lose your way and surrender to the wilderness?”

Wanderers is the first title in the new trilogy by Garphill Games. After exploring the Northern Seas and the lands of the Western Kingdom, the saga South of the Tigris will take you to the Abbasid Caliphate, one of the largest empires in history.

In the game, your goal is to finish the game with the highest number of Victory Points (VP). To do this, you will have to map the lands, rivers, seas and sky, improve your Caravan, earn Inspiration and influence the three Guilds: Scientists, Traders and Explorers. As you make discoveries, you will have to quickly note your progress by advancing on the Journal Track.
